HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 25, 2000 -- Film guy Tim Burton is coming to a computer near you. The gothic-esque auteur, who made "Edward Scissorhands" and reinvented the "Batman" character among other things, is set to debut his Web series "Stainboy" on shockwave.com on Tuesday, Daily Variety says. The concept of the animated show is based on a character from Burton’s book "The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories." It follows a hapless superhero whose forte is the leaving of stains. Besides the Netcast, the "Stainboy" property also includes trading cards, greeting cards and interactive games that can be downloaded from the Web site.
