    Cheap Trick, Blondie and The Misfits will perform at the Life's a Gas: Joey Ramone's Birthday Bash, a tribute to the late Ramones frontman, who died April 15 of lymphoma, Rolling Stone reports. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 19, what would have been Ramone's 50th birthday, at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom. There also will be video greetings by friends and musicians who were unable to attend, as well as speakers who will take the stage to remember the legendary punk rocker.

    HOLLYWOOD, Jan. 2, 2001 -- Ingenue Kate Hudson played a rock band groupie in Cameron Crowe's "Almost Famous", but she isn't about to settle for just that in real life.

    Hollywood's It Girl tied the knot with her rocker boyfriend, Black Crowes' lead singer Chris Robinson, at a New Year's Eve ceremony at the Aspen, Colo., ranch owned by Hudson's mother Goldie Hawn and her longtime boyfriend Kurt Russell, Hudson's publicist Brad Cafarelli confirmed to Hollywood.com today.

    According to Cafarelli, the wedding theme was romantic 19th century (whatever that means) and was attended by the bride and groom's families and close friends.

    Hudson's close friend Dyani Redclay served as her maid of honor, and Robinson's younger brother and band mate Rich was Robinson's best man.
