Cruise sues porn star over alleged gay affair
Tom Cruise has had enough with the rumors about his sexuality.
Cruise filed a lawsuit Wednesday against a gay porn star who claimed in a magazine interview that he had a love affair with the Mission: Impossible star, Reuters reports. The lawsuit said that Chad Slater, who also goes by the name Kyle Bradford, claimed in the interview that the alleged affair wrecked Cruise's marriage to actress Nicole Kidman, Reuters said.
In a $100 million defamation lawsuit, Cruise said that Slater told his "vicious, self-promoting story" to the French magazine Actustar, which later appeared translated in the Spanish publication TV y Novelas.
Slater, who is described on his Web site as an "erotic wrestler," told Acutstar that he had "a continuing homosexual relationship during Cruise's marriage and that the relationship was discovered by Cruise's wife, who ended the relationship," the lawsuit said, according to The Associated Press.
