Japan's Toshiba Corp and AOL Time Warner are planning a joint enterprise to distribute motion pictures via satellite to theaters around the world.
An executive of Boeing Satellite systems said Monday that the company will begin distributing movies to theaters via satellite on a test basis in November or December of this year, with a large-scale, formal rollout in late spring of 2002.
