Tribeca Film Festival to Feature Anniversary Screenings of ‘The Godfather’ & ‘Reservoir Dogs’

New York’s Tribeca Film Festival will conclude with showings of The Godfather, The Godfather Part II and Reservoir Dogs.

The Godfather screenings will mark the 45th anniversary of the original film’s release and will be held at Radio City Music Hall on 29 April (17). Director Francis Ford Coppola will front a post-screening panel featuring stars Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire, and Robert De Niro.

Meanwhile, a celebratory retrospective of Reservoir Dogs, featuring a screening and a conversation with director Quentin Tarantino and the cast of the cult film, will mark the 25th anniversary of the classic.

A 15th anniversary screening of Bowling for Columbine, with an appearance by Michael Moore, is also scheduled, as is a 25th anniversary sing-along screening of Aladdin.

The Tribeca Film Festival will open with the debut of the documentary Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives and feature the premieres of The Circle, starring Tom Hanks and Emma Watson, and Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: The Bad Boy Story, a documentary by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

The annual event will run from April 19 to 30 (17).
