Harry Potter and the Cursed Child new cast

It was announced on Tuesday, September 27, that new cast members will join the show at the Lyric Theatre in New York City. Joel Myers will make his Broadway debut as Albus Potter. Erik C. Peterson and Imani Jade Powers will make their debuts as Scorpius Malfoy and Delphi Diggory respectively. Maya Thomas, who was a part of the show’s ensemble, will take over the role of Rose Granger-Weasley.

Steve Haggard and Angela Reed continue as Harry Potter and Ginny Potter. David Ables will stay in the role of Ron Weasley while Rachel Leslie will take over the role of Hermione from Jenny Jules in November.

If you’re an Aries: Rose Granger-Weasley

Rose Granger Weasley is the daughter of Hermione and Ron. Inheriting her brains from mother Hermione, Rose is well-liked among her teachers and students. While she is sympathetic and kind like an Aires, her competitiveness can cause issues. Like this zodiac sign, Rose can be reckless and sometimes intolerant, initially bullying her cousin Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy. However, her creative mind and optimism remind us that she is in fact the child of Ron and Hermione.

If you’re a Taurus: Ron Weasley

Ron Weasley: we know and love him for his endearing nature. In typical Taurus fashion, he is loyal to his friends Harry and Hermione. While he gets scared easily, his Taurus nature pushes him to persevere. You can see that courage when he helps defeat Voldemort and also in the Battle of Hogwarts. Although Ron displays the signature Taurus trait of getting easily angry and upset, we appreciate his dedication to his family and his funny quips.

If you’re a Gemini: Draco Malfoy

This one is a given; no one is more of a Gemini than Draco Malfoy. Geminis can be untrustworthy and erratic when pushed to their limit, which Draco proved to do many times throughout the Harry Potter series. He has a troublesome past, from continually attacking Hermione and Ron, to working with the Dark Lord. However, Draco, like a Gemini, is intelligent. A Gemini is also known to have double-sided personalities; Draco shows he wants harmony by making sure his son Scorpius accepts everyone.

If you’re a Cancer: Delphi Diggory

Discovered as Voldemort’s and Bellatrix’s secret child, Delphi Diggory tricked Albus, Scorpius, and the entire audience into her evil plan. Delphi Diggory exhibits the haunting qualities of a Cancer with her manipulation. She exploited Albus and Scorpius to go back in time so her father, Voldemort, could live. Although she is calculated and malicious, she is sensitive like a cancer, craving love. That is why she goes back in time, not to cause destruction, but to be with her father.

If you’re a Leo: Harry Potter

Harry Potter’s birthday (July 31) falls within the Leo Zodiac dates, and he perfectly captures the quint traits. The boy who lived is the franchise’s main protagonist and leader, giving off Leo vibes. Harry is known for risking his life for the good of others, but like a Leo, sometimes he is naive with his decisions. Either way, he is a charismatic character, and he’s the reason why is why Hogwarts is still operating today.

If you’re a Virgo: Hermione Granger

Hermione is a hero and role model for many young women. Like a Virgo, she is hardworking and logical, whether she is studying hard in Hogwarts or currently working as the Minister of Magic. She’s always been the responsible one in her friendship with Harry and Ron. At times though, it does make her critical and uptight of her friends and the people around her. Although, she always remains faithful to her loved ones.

If you’re a Libra: Lily Luna Potter

Lily Luna Potter is Harry and Ginny’s youngest child. She was named after her grandmother, Lily Potter, and her parents’ close friend Luna Lovegood. While there isn’t a ton of information about the character, we assume she takes after her mother with her confidence. Her charisma connects her to the zodiac sign, Libra. Simultaneously, she has the impatience of a Libra, jealous that her two younger brothers go to Hogwarts before her.

If you’re a Scorpio: James Sirius Potter

James Sirius Potter is another character we don’t have extensive knowledge about. As Harry and Ginny’s oldest child, James is known for his boldness and confidence at Hogwarts, like a Scorpio. He also shares the more negative traits of the zodiac sign with his cunning nature. He often teases his younger brother Albus and gets into mischief, taking after his uncle Ron.

If you’re a Sagittarius: Scorpius Malfoy

Scorpius Malfoy is the child of Draco and Astoria and one of the two protagonists of the play. When he was young, his mother preached to him about accepting all people; this makes his character very empathetic towards others. Several rumors spread at the beginning of the play that Scorpius is the son of Voldemort— which is false. Scorpius often feels ostracized because of his geeky, philosophical nature; Scorpios are known to be intellectual. However, he can also possess the negative traits of this zodiac sign, like bluntness.

If you’re a Capricorn: Ginny Potter

Ginny is our iconic Capricorn witch. She is ambitious and independent with her work and her family. Serving as the Sports Editor for the Daily Prophet, Ginny strives to be the best at her job. She is also very loyal to her family, like a Capricorn, as she devotes her time to supporting her husband and children. However, in her younger years, she sometimes comes across as aloof to her family and friends. She still cares deeply for those she’s close to, though.

If you’re an Aquarius: Albus Severus Potter

Albus is the middle child of Harry and Ginny and our main character. From his start at Hogwarts, he feels different than his peers— he was the only Potter sorted into Slytherin. Like an Aquarius, he is courageous when he joins Scorpius on a mission back in time. Sometimes, his overthinking makes him more naive and susceptible to trouble. Simultaneously, Albus exhibits the Aquarius trait of being positive and always seeing the best in his friend Scorpius, even when others don’t.

If you’re a Pisces: Moaning Myrtle

We couldn’t make this list and forget about Moaning Myrtle. Out of all the signs, this crying dramatic ghost gives off quintessential Pisces vibes. She is always emotional like a Pisces; in almost every interaction she is bawling her eyes out. While she is sensitive, she also has a dreamy outlook, pining over characters like Harry.
