Guy Ritchie has two films that he’s basically known for. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and Snatch. Fans of his love those movies and compare all of his others to those two. Well now, Guy has a third film in the “same spirit” called ‘The Gentlemen’.
The film follows Mickey (Matthew McConaughey) the guy in charge of the biggest marijuana empire in London. He wants to cash out, and everyone wants a piece. If you watch the trailer you’ll recognize the Dragon as Henry Golding, a young and dumb gangster that Mickey wants no part of.
The film has a pretty crazy cast with Charlie Hunnam, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsan, Colin Farrell and Hugh Grant in various roles, and the film just feels like Guy’s classic films with gun battles, comedic situations, and awful situations.
‘The Gentlemen’ releases on January 24, 2020.
