You don’t have to take our word for it that LeVar Burton is awesome. You probably grew up with the guy, watching his multiple iconic roles on TV as Kunta Kinte on Roots, Geordi LaForge on Star Trek: The Next Generation, and as the host of Reading Rainbow, which inspired generations of kids to fall in love with books. In the next couple weeks, Reading Rainbow celebrates its 30th anniversary. Add this to the fact that moviegoers are excited about Star Trek all over again with the release of Star Trek Into Darkness, and we have a good deal to celebrate.

In honor of these two momentous occasions, LeVar Burton is joining Hollywood.com’s inaugural “Summer Movies: Burning Questions” Google+ Hangout, part of a summer-long series, for an interview on Tuesday May 21 at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT. You can watch the live YouTube video stream of the Hangout on our Google+ page here or in the video that will be embedded right here, below, on Tuesday night.
