‘Outer Banks’ Season 3 Out Now on Netflix

The Road So Far

For those unfamiliar with the show, “Outer Banks” is a coming-of-age adventure series set in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The story follows a group of friends from a socio-economic group known as the “Pogues”. Pogues are the working class, while Kooks represent the wealthy elite.

This group banded together to search for a legendary treasure that has been lost for centuries. Along the way, they encounter their fair share of danger and excitement. Not to mention, plenty of mystery as they attempt to unravel the truth behind the treasure.

The story centers around working class teens who treasure hunt in their free time. John B. Rutledge, acts as the group leader.  He’s searching for his missing father, stumbling across clues that shed light on a treasure hunt that inspired his father to set sail. The Outer Banks features a world class cast starring Chase Stokes, Jonathan Daviss,  Rudy Pankow, and Madison Bailey.  

Season 2 saw the Pogues facing new challenges. They attempted to locate the Royal Merchant, a missing ship carrying the key to the treasure. The season was filled with twists and turns as the group navigated their way through dangerous waters and encountered new enemies who were also searching for the treasure. As for Season three, Netflix dropped a trailer to give a taste of what’s to come.
