In The Odd Life of Timothy Green, an infertile couple (Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Garner) compile a list of qualities that their “perfect son” would embody in a treasure chest of sorts and bury it in their backyard. The next morning, they have a kid—a kid with a mysterious, somewhat magical origin (obviously), a kid who makes all their dreams come true, and, as the trailer indicates, a kid who spins slowly, eyes-closed and arms extended, to indicate that there’s more to him than meets the eye. But we already sort of figured that, what with the fact that he sprouted from a box of paper.
The movie comes from Disney and looks perfectly suited for the family-friendly studio.
