If you are reading this and hope to one day pursue a career in film, whether it be writing, directing, acting, prop handling, boom gripping, whatever, you can now stop. Just stop. The pinnacle of modern film has been reached. We’ve been looking for our Citizen Kane and as this brand new trailer easily demonstrates we have found it. No other film shall come close to reaching this film’s depth and understanding of the human soul and experience. No other film will transform the way we view the world. Every film after will pale in comparison. We will all remember our first time that we had the privilege of seeing Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son. I’m going to go ahead and predict (though is it really necessary to call this a prediction? Isn’t it kind of obvious?) that this film will win every Oscar and destroy every box office ever. I even think they’ll leave it competition for the Oscars the year after just because its still destroying everyone in the box office. Martin Lawrence deserves a presidential medal of Awesome for making this movie. I believe we owe Brandon Jackson all of our first borns for his service in making this movie. Can I marry a film? I want to legally make love to this movie. It gives me chills just thinking about it. I think I’ll replace my nightly prayer with a viewing of the trailer just to thank God for allowing this film to get made. In fact, I should go ahead and start camping out for opening night. I hope I’m not too late.
