Charlize Theron is reportedly close to signing up for Murder Mystery, a crime comedy from British director John Madden.
The whodunit centers on an American couple on their honeymoon — with Theron presumably playing one of the newlyweds — when they are implicated in a murder they witnessed. Theron will produce, along with, among others, Zodiac scribe James Vanderbilt, who will also pen the Murder Mystery screenplay.
It’s been quite a month for Theron, star of June blockbusters Snow White and the Huntsman and Prometheus. She will next work on the perpetually delayed Mad Max: Fury Road, for which she recently shaved her head!
