According to The Wrap, the young actor will play Flash Thompson, Peter Parker’s antagonistic classmate in high school. And although he spends his days as a football player teasing “Puny Parker,” he’s one of Spider-Man’s biggest fans. But, little does he know…
Anyway, Zylka joins just in time because the Marc Webb directed picture starts shooting in a few weeks. The cast already features a butt-load of talent with (deep breath) Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Rhys Ifans, Irrfan Khans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Julianne Nicholson, and Annie Parisse. Whew.
