Colin Farrell to Reteam with ‘In Bruges’ Director for ‘Seven Psychopaths’

The star and director of the criminally underseen 2008 crimedy In Bruges are reteaming for the splendidly titled Seven Psychopaths.

CBS Films has bought the rights to Psychopaths, with Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken attached to star, and Martin McDonagh to direct.

In Psychopaths, Farrell plays a screenwriter — stay with us, it gets better — who, along with his dognapping buddies (Walken and Rockwell), gets wrapped up in a crazy gangster’s missing Shih Tzu. It’s all great fodder for the script he wasn’t able to finish, but he’ll have to survive the ordeal in order to use it. If only all movies about screenwriters could sound so interesting…
