Among the Academy Awards counter-programming options available to media consumers this weekend, only one features Nicolas Cage gunning down hordes of anonymous goons while simultaneously making love to a voluptuous blonde, stopping only to take the occasional swig from a bottle of Jack Daniels. It’s called Drive Angry, and, needless to say, it well never be confused for Oscar fare.
