‘John Dies at the End’: The Weirdest ‘Supernatural’ Episode Ever? — TRAILER

john dies at the end

Nearly ten years after directing a feature film, horror auteur Don Coscarelli (Bubba Ho-Tep, the Phantasm series) returned to the 2012 Sundance Film Festival with his latest creation: John Dies at the End.

The twisted ride, starring Chase Williamson and Rob Mayes as two friends who suddenly find themselves drowning in a world of the paranormal, feels like it stewed in someone’s brain for a decade. Demented from start to finish, Coscarelli unleashes every ounce of his imagination up on screen. It made for the perfect midnight experience at Sundance, and finally, it will make for the perfect midnight experience for audiences everywhere when it hits VOD on Dec. 28 and in theaters Jan. 25, 2013.

If Supernatural cranked up the weird and hit the big screen, it might be something like John Dies at the End, which has the gravitas of actor Paul Giamatti to add to the mix. The trailer for the film has landed on line. Watch it below and prepare for… well, there may be no way to prepare.
