Starring in 9/11 movie World Trade Center brought back the horror of the terrorist attacks for actress Maggie Gyllenhaal.
The star was abroad when terrorist planes were flown into New York City’s twin towers, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and a field in Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001.
She says, “I was alone and out of the country. I happened to check my e-mail and my mom said the World Trade Center had been bombed.
