Ashton Kutcher, is that you?
When Twilight star Robert Pattinson read that he was to appear in The Hunger Games sequel he wasn’t sure if he was being Punk’d, or not. (And it probably didn’t help calm his fears knowing that Kutcher was set to return to the hit show playing host of an upcoming episode.)
The morning after Pattinson’s movie, Cosmopolis, opened in Cannes to a standing ovation, he tells USA Today he woke up to read “all these things about me being cast in The Hunger Games. I was kind of curious for a second. So I called my agent.”
Unfortunately the rumors weren’t true — or part of a clever stunt for the sake of the celebrity prank show. “[My agent] was like no one’s going to offer you that part,” he says, laughing at his own expense. “I was like, thanks for the reassurance.”
