The below exclusive clip from the newest Nicholas Sparks adaptation Safe Haven shows the power of “Can I give you a hand with that?” as one of the seedlings that is destined to sprout into a floral romance between stars Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel.
A newcomer to the waterside down of Southport, N.C., Katie (Hough) forms a bond with longtime resident Alex (Duhamel). Both anchored to loneliness by tumultuous emotional pasts, Katie and Alex seem see in one another something they haven’t been able to find in some time: true friendship, and, possibly, true love. Just remember to lift with your knees!
