While kids are off at camp this summer tagging behind their counselors, there’s only one counselor on our mind: Michael Fassbender. Fassbender takes the screen in Ridley Scott’s The Counselor and not only does he look damn good, so does this thrilling film.
In the official trailer for the action-packed movie, Fassbender stars as a lawyer who becomes involved in drug traffickling hoopla. Although we’ve had peeks at the upcoming film, we haven’t had such a vivid taste until now. In the foreground of the idyllic beach landscape, gun shots blare, car windows smash, and drama erupts while Fassbender meanders his way through drug trafficking theatrics. And as fast as we’re hooked to this trailer, it halts with Cruz’s character in a micheviously sexy tone muttering, “Have you been bad?” Damn.
What’s most intriguing about this trailer – besides the epic cheetah chilling poolside – are the feisty dynamics that sizzle between all-star castmembers Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, and Penelope Cruz. The only bummer about this movie? We have to wait until Oct. 25t to catch The Counselor when it rolls into theatres. Ugh.
