You Can Now Own The Score To ‘Scream’ And ‘Scream 2’ On Vinyl

We’re not sure why you’d really want a vinyl record of the score to Scream, unless you’re a vinyl junkie who happens to be a fan of masterfully written slasher movies. Maybe you want to creep out your friends by spinning it on your record player in a random, empty room of your house. Didn’t that happen in The Strangers? It was very creepy when that happened.

Admittedly, vinyl soundtracks are kind of a niche market, but they’re also pretty cool. For all you horror movie fans and vinyl nerds, you can now own the Scream and Scream 2 score on 180-gram vinyl.

The score is composed by Marco Beltrami, who is behind major movie scores like Hellboy, Blade II, Resident Evil, Dracula 2000, Red Eye and The Omen. Beltrami composed all of the music for Wes Craven’s Scream franchise (minus that totally whack MTV series).

The record comes in “bone white” which beautifully matches Ghostface’s mug on the album cover. It’s a single LP, which means it’s probably a selection of the most iconic moments from each film’s score, but the novelty factor makes it worth a purchase.

You can snag the record over at Bull Moose.
