Spider-Man director Sam Raimi has raised doubts over his involvement in a fourth installment of the web-slinging superhero, because he is “exhausted.”
The film’s stars, Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, have both recently voiced their interest in making another Spider-Man movie, but only if the main cast and crew are all on board.
And while Raimi hasn’t ruled out a return to the action comic, he admits it’ll be a few years before he attempts to come up with another plot line for Peter Parker and his alter ego to save New York City.
He says, “I’m just exhausted, and I need to get away from it for a while.”
