Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt staged a The Devil Wears Prada reunion in New York on Thursday (22Mar18) when they showed up to support co-star Stanley Tucci as he launched his new film.
Thrilled Tucci was spotted chatting to his real-life sister-in-law Emily and Meryl at the premiere of Final Portrait as Blunt’s husband John Krasinski, a self-confessed superfan of the 2006 film, looked on.
He told E! News he has seen The Devil Wears Prada about 75 times: “There was one day when it was on and I said it was so good and Emily said, ‘Have you seen this movie?’
“I said, ‘A lot of times…’ Luckily, we had been dating for almost a year, so there was a lot of trust built up and I said, ‘Like, 75 (times)’.”
Tucci had another reason to celebrate at the premiere – his wife Felicity, who is Emily’s sister, is expecting the couple’s second child.
