75th Primetime Emmy Awards: Full List of Winners and More!

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards have concluded, marking a notable occasion. The prestigious awards ceremony, traditionally held in September, underwent rescheduling and is thus aired today on January 15, 2024. The deferment was prompted by the turbulent strikes by writers and actors that transpired in September 2023. This delay represents only the second instance of such a postponement in the illustrious history of the Emmys. Additionally, Anthony Anderson, known for his leading role in black·ish, assumed the role of host for the evening. The event unfolded at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA, captivating audiences with its star-studded allure.

Elton John solidified his status as an EGOT winner by snagging the Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) with his incredible performance in Elton John Live: Farewell from Dodger Stadium. He joins the exclusive club of only 19 individuals who have achieved this remarkable feat, adding the Emmy to his illustrious collection of Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards. Truly a quadruple triumph!

Succession emerged as the big winner of the night, securing a remarkable six awards, including Outstanding Drama Series, Directing, and Writing for a Drama Series. Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, and Matthew MacFadyen also scored acting accolades, culminating in a brilliant farewell for the series’ final season. Another standout was The Bear, which also garnered an impressive six awards, encompassing Outstanding Comedy Series, Writing, and Directing for a Comedy Series. Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach shone in their respective roles, earning well-deserved acting recognition. Noteworthy mentions also go to Beef, which triumphed in five categories, Jennifer Coolidge’s win for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for The White Lotus, and Quinta Brunson’s victory as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Abbott Elementary.
