Grammy Award-winning artist Alicia Keys is bringing her semi-autobiographical musical, Hell’s Kitchen, to the stage. Tickets are now available, surely exciting fans who’ve been waiting since the musical’s announcement.
The musical opens for the 2023-24 season of New York’s Public Theater Off Broadway. Previews begin October 24, with an opening night of November 19, 2023.

Hell’s Kitchen: Welcome to the Alicia Keys State of Mind
The production showcases Keys‘ most popular songs, intertwined with new compositions specifically crafted for the show.
Set in the 90s, Hell’s Kitchen follows 17-year-old Ali as she navigates hard truths about love, race, and growing up. The coming-of-age story takes place in Manhattan Plaza, as Ali’s single mother strives to shield her from repeating her own mistakes. Despite this, Ali just wants to get her piece of the New York dream.
This Girl’s on Fire: The Star Studded Cast and Crew in Hell’s Kitchen
The decade-long project saw Keys teaming up with Tony Award nominated Choreographer Camille A. Brown and directed by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif. Music and lyrics are by Pulitzer Prize finalist Kristoffer Diaz.
The cast includes Shoshana Bean, Brandon Victor Dixon, Chad Carstarphen, Reid Clarke, Chloe Davis, Nico DeJesus among others.
Hell’s Kitchen opens for previews October 24, with an official opening night of November 19, 2023.
