Amy Adams’ modesty patches fell off in bath scene

Amy Adams was left completely naked in the bath in the latest Superman movie after her modesty patches came off.
The American Hustle actress plays Superman’s girlfriend Lois Lane in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and in one scene Henry Cavill’s superhero, as his journalist alter ego Clark Kent, walks into the bathroom while Lois is having a bubble bath, apparently naked.
Many actors wear flesh-coloured garments to protect their modesty during ‘nude’ scenes, but Amy’s patches failed to remain stuck to her after they got wet in the bath water.
“I am completely naked in the tub but they actually put me in unflattering stick-on modesty garments that came off in the bath!” she tells U.K. talk show host Graham Norton. “You’re trying to do a scene and there’s a little Band-Aid floating around.”
She previously told reporters at a Los Angeles press conference the bath scene is her most memorable because it affected her self-esteem for weeks, being nude besides the ripped Henry.
“Trying to protect my modesty while this demigod stood above me,” she said. “I had this low self-esteem for two weeks after that… It’s true. I was like, ‘I am hideous.'”
Henry refused to listen to her self-conscious talk and chipped in, “She’s NOT.”
Amy recently told Parade magazine that Superman may be physically strong, but Lois is a superwoman emotionally so they are stronger as a team, like her and husband Darren Le Gallo, who she married in 2015 after a seven-year engagement.
“Physically, no one is Superman’s equal—but being equal doesn’t mean we have the same strengths,” she said. “It’s like with my husband and me: His strengths lie in one place, and my strengths lie in another, and when we bring them together it makes us stronger.”
