The fake cocaine Jonah Hill snorted while shooting The Wolf of Wall Street put him in the hospital for three weeks.

The actor reveals he developed bronchitis as a result of his bogus drug taking.

“I had to be hospitalized,” Jonah told Any Given Wednesday host Bill Simmons, revealing the ‘cocaine’ he snorted on camera was actually vitamin powder.

“If you ingest that much matter into you lungs you’ll get very sick, and we were just literally doing fake coke for, like, seven months, every day. I never had more vitamin D in my entire life; I could have lifted a car over my f**king head!”

Hill plays a drug abuser again in his new movie War Dogs, but he insists he never reverts to the real thing to play high for a scene.

“It’s interesting pretending to be on drugs,” he explains. “I use music. I’ll make a playlist for every scene, so I’ll try to make, like, music that (made me feel) jittery and chaotic… and then just drink a ton of coffee and Red Bull.”
