One Google reviewer said “Wasn’t able to enjoy movie theaters as a kid being I’m Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Once my daughter put me on to AMC theaters I’ve been hooked on the experience! Best thing of all they show their movies with closed captioning in the picture.”

Charlotte Movie Theaters: AMC Northlake 14
AMC started out in the early 20th century when Maurice, Edward and Barney Dubinsky purchased the Regent Theatre in Kansas City, Mo. Now, after over 20 years the company has gone on to open approximately 1,000 theaters and 11,000 screens across the globe. It’s safe to say that a good number of those are probably attached to a mall. Being attached to a mall is not only good for the mall, but especially the theater. It allows guests to go somewhere to relax after a long day of shopping. But don’t get us wrong, just because they’re in a mall doesn’t mean you won’t get a state of the art movie going experience, complete with IMAX!
