BOX OFFICE: War of the Retreads

Now you see it, now you see it again.

That’s apparently the story with “Hollow Man” and “Space Cowboys,” the two films that are running neck and neck for the No. 1 spot at the box office this weekend. The winner will be known when final ticket sales figures are released Monday.

Whichever film prevails, this is the first time in two months that the top grossing film wasn’t a new release. The last time that happened was when “M:I-2” opened in May and was No. 1 for two consecutive weeks.
