Frozen II has iced out the competition to top the North American box office in its opening weekend (November 22-24, 19).
The animated sequel starring Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell has earned an impressive $127 million to take the number one spot. The film was also in first place overseas and grossed $223 million internationally.
Christian Bale and Matt Damon‘s Ford v Ferrari comes in at number two with $15.5 million, while Tom Hanks‘ Mister Rogers biopic A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood is third with $13.5 million (£10.5 million).

Chadwick Boseman‘s 21 Bridges and Midway close out the top five with $9.2 million and $4.7 million, respectively.
