Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist is a 2008 movie about two people (Nick and Norah, duh) who meet by chance at a bar, when Norah asks Nick to be her boyfriend for 5 minutes. But it’s so much more than that, it’s easily both Kat Dennings and Michael Cera‘s most underrated movie. And it’s an adorably quriky rom-com that will warm your heart and make you laugh.
Norah is pretty freaking bold and we love it:
And she throws an epic throat punch:
It teaches you that being straight is apparently hard:
It’s the perfect movie for music lovers:
It teachers you the most insane insults to use on your friends:
Caroline’s turkey sandwich story is the greatest drunk speech ever made:
Andy Samberg makes the weirdest cameo:
And Seth Meyers also has a hilarious cameo:
For some reason, Jesus and his altar boys don’t wear pants:
Despite all the cracks and humor, we can seriously relate to how Norah feels:
And the movie does its best to wash away dumb insecurities:
Nick’s bestie, Thom (yes, Thom), explains this Beatles song better than the Beatles could have:
There is this beefy guy who basically has no lines, except for when he screams “THAT IS IT” and head butts this jerk:
And finally, it was set and actually filmed in the greatest city in the world, NYC baby:
