New movies in theaters: Deadlock

Deadlock is an adventure film directed by Jared Cohn. The film follows wanted criminal Ron Whitlock (Bruce Willis) as he leads a group of mercenaries on a vengeance mission as they seize an energy plant and hold hostages. The hostages’ only chance is with one of their own: an ex-military man. The film also includes Patrick Muldoon, Matthew Marsden, and Michael DeVorzon.

Deadlock will be in theaters in the United States on December 3, but fans have already shared their excitement for its release.

New movies in theaters: The Hand of God

The Hand of God, directed by Paolo Sorrentino, is one of his most personal ones to date. It’s a drama about a boy in 1980s Naples and his dealing with fate, family, sports, cinema, love, and loss. The film stars Filippo Scotti, Toni Servillo, Teresa Saponangelo, Marlon Joubert, Luisa Ranieri, and Renato Carpentieri.

The film was released in theaters on December 1 and will be on Netflix on December 15. Fans shared their thoughts online.

New movies in theaters: Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas

Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas is the latest Shaun the Sheep movie. When the sheeps’ raid to get better stockings goes wrong, Timmy goes missing. Shaun has to find him before he becomes someone’s present. The film is voiced by Justin Fletcher and Kate Harbour.

The movie will be on Netflix on December 3. Many Shaun the Sheep fans can’t wait to watch with their families.

New movies in theaters: Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is the animated reboot and fifth installment of the film series based on the books of the same name by Jeff Kinney. However, this is the first one that’s animated. It follows Greg Heffley, a middle schooler who dreams of being famous, and his best friend, Rowley, as they both struggle to survive middle school. It includes the voices of Brady Noon, Ethan William Childress, and Chris Diamantopoulos.

It will be released on Disney+ on December 3 as a Disney+ Original Film.

New movies in theaters: Encounter

Encounter is a sci-fi thriller film directed by Michael Pearce. It follows a Marine Corps veteran and his kids on the run from the military as he tries to protect them from an alien invasion. It stars Riz Ahmed, Octavia Spencer, Misha Collins, and Janina Gavankar.

It will be released in theaters on December 3 and on Prime Video on December 10.
