Answer: Game shows renewed through 2016. What are Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, Alex?
The pair of hit TV shows have reupped their contracts, reports Variety. Both will carry on with their respective hosts (Wheel’s Pat Sajak and Vanna White and Jeopardy’s Alex Trebek) — adding another two years to their existing contracts.
President of Sales for CBS Television Distribution, Joe DiSalvo said the number one and two syndicated game shows “continue to hit prime-time size ratings every night,” with Wheel bringing in “more than 30 million viewers per week” and Jeopardy “25 million.”
No actual figures were given in regards to the new contracts. However, something tells us the price was right.
