Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale seek big payday for marital home

Gwen Stefani and her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale are seeking a $20 million (£16.2 million) profit for the Beverly Hills mansion they used to call home.
The No Doubt frontwoman split from Bush rocker Gavin in August, 2015 after 13 years of marriage and they tried to offload their former family home three months later, in November (15).
The seven-bedroom property failed to attract any buyers, and now the exes have enlisted the help of Hollywood realtors Jade Mills and Stephen Shapiro, who recently managed to secure a sale for Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion.
Gwen and Gavin purchased the pad for $13.25 million (£10.8 million) in 2007, but now they are hoping to cash in on their investment by listing it for $35 million (£28.4 million), reports TMZ.com.
The spacious house, which is located in a gated community, features a gym, home theatre, tennis court, an infinity pool, and a hot tub, as well as an outdoor kitchen.
If the place sells, the musicians will split the profits evenly as it was deemed community property when they finalised their divorce in April (16).
The stars have both moved on from the broken marriage – Gwen began dating Blake Shelton, her fellow judge on The Voice U.S., a year ago (Oct15), while Gavin was reportedly spotted on a date last month (Sep16) with Tiger Woods’ ex-wife, Elin Nordegren.
And while Gwen has been open about the heartbreak she suffered as the marriage crumbled amid allegations of Gavin’s infidelity, the Brit has made it clear he is not interested in discussing his past.
“It’s, like, enough already. I’ve got to move on. Everyone has got to move on,” he told Britain’s The Times newspaper earlier this month (Oct16).
Referring to their three kids, Gavin added, “I have an incredible life with them, and that’s what matters. You can’t keep up with all the vitriol. Just don’t get into all that.”
