Robert Downey Jr. Hires Top Writers For Third ‘Sherlock Holmes’

Robert Downey Jr. has hired a team of top scriptwriters to work on the third installment of his Sherlock Holmes franchise.

The last installment of the series, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, was released in 2011 and the Iron Man star has been keen to reprise his role, but his filming schedule has made it difficult to get the project off the ground.

However, he is now moving forward with the movie and has teamed up with Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Nicole Perlman, Baywatch‘s Justin Malen, Rogue One‘s Gary Whitta, Tomb Raider‘s Geneva Robertson-Dworet as well as Snowden‘s Kieran Fitzgerald to work on the script.
