Exclusive: ‘Terminator: Salvation’ Producer Reacts to Leak

Having a website reveal the last three minutes of your upcoming summer blockbuster can be a real downer, especially if that movie is Terminator Salvation, but James Middleton, producer of both show and film, does not seem worried about the leak. “The ending is really important and there are only a few people that really know the ending,” he told Hollywood.com.

At the beginning of June, Ain’t It Cool News posted a spoiler that revealed the ending of the Terminator film that comes out next May. Middleton doesn’t confirm or deny anything to do with the ending, but the fact that a spoiler of sorts ended up online does not surprise him in the slightest. “There is such a rabid interest in the Terminator franchise. There’s the same interest in finding out plot details about The Sarah Connor Chronicles and there was that same interest with Terminator 3. There are people that will float ideas about what is happening on the show, just in order to get a response. But I would say that in all of the Terminator movies the ending is important, it’s kept very secure and it’s something the film makers don’t want revealed.”
