‘Police Academy’ Star Investigated for Dog Sex Scene

Police Academy star Bobcat Goldthwait sparked controversy on the set of his new comedy Sleeping Dogs Lie when concerned bystanders spotted a bestiality storyline in the film’s script.

The quirky actor, who played Zed in the comedy franchise, was directing the film in a rural California street and invited neighbors to watch proceedings.

This quickly turned into a bad idea when one local animal lover spotted a line about a character performing a sex act on a dog in the script and called in the Humane Society.

Goldthwait says, “The Humane Society were like, ‘Hey, what’s going on here today?’ We said, ‘Oh, it’s a relationship comedy.’ And the Humane Society woman goes, ‘Really. Because I heard a dog gets a bl*wj*b in this movie.’

“They were there every day on the set. Obviously it was all a fuss about nothing and we actually got the Humane Society to sign off on the movie–they gave us their blessing, which says, ‘No animals were injured or pleasured in the course of making the movie.’ That was funny.”
