‘Underworld 4’ Gets A Fancy New Title

No need for the numerical qualifier – Underworld 4 is now Underworld Awakening.

We also got a little taste of the plot – once again we follow Kate Beckinsale’s character Selene (more Beckinsale? I’ll take it), only this time she’s just being released from imprisonment. She discovers that the world now knows about the existence of vampires and werewolves, excuse me – lycans (this is serious), and subsequently started a war against them. Cue gun-toting, leather-clad warriors blasting away every hairy beast and bloodsucker in sight.

Underworld Awakening will see release in January, but we’ll get our first glimpse when when we cover their upcoming San Diego Comic-Con panel!
