Actress Lisa Gaye dies at 81

Actress and dancer Lisa Gaye has died, aged 81.
Gaye passed away last Thursday (14Jul16) at her home in Houston, Texas.
She was best known for her roles in musical films Shake Rattle & Rock! and Rock Around the Clock, which featured featuring Bill Haley and the Comets, The Platters and others.
Gaye also appeared in films such as Night of Evil, The Glenn Miller Story, Drums Across the River, and Ten Thousand Bedrooms opposite Dean Martin.
She had a number of guest starring roles on the small screen, including Get Smart, I Dream of Jeannie, The Flying Nun, Perry Mason, with her last onscreen appearance coming in a 1970 episode of Mod Squad.
Gaye is survived by her siblings, who are both in the industry – make-up artist brother Frank Griffin and actress sister Debra Paget.
