Hollywood actor Bruce Willis was so distraught following his divorce from
Demi Moore in 2000 he feared for his own safety–until close friend Will Smith
came to the rescue.
The Die Hard actor blamed himself for the failure of his 13 year marriage,
but Smith advised his friend to focus on his children Rumer, Scout and Tallulah
and put his heartbreak behind him.
Willis, 49, says, “I kept blaming myself. I couldn’t believe it had happened
to us. I started talking to Will who is a very close personal friend, and he
saved my life.
“He told me that you have to put the kids first, and even if it’s awkward you
have to get together with the new girlfriend or spouse–whoever it is. It was
just great advice.”
