Lil Nas X has invited Joe Jonas to feature on the remix for his tune Panini, after the Jonas Brothers star lamented that his remix of the rapper’s massively popular Old Town Road “never made the cut”.
Following the MTV Video Music Awards on Monday night (August 26, 2019), Joe shared a picture of himself with Lil Nas X on his Twitter page at the ceremony and wrote: “My old town road mix never made the cut”, alongside a sad face emoji.
The 20-year-old rapper, real name Montero Hill, was quick to reply, reassuring the singer that he could do his thing with his new tune Panini.
“Imma let u on panini don’t worry,” he tweeted.
Joe, 30, responded by sharing a GIF of actor Jean Claude Van Damme dancing in 1989 movie Kickboxer.
Old Town Road was a massive breakout hit for Lil Nas X, but became even more popular when Billy Ray Cyrus recorded a remix which topped charts worldwide.
