Margot Robbie’s brother teases her over Oscars loss

Oscar nominee Margot Robbie took a big tease from her brother on Sunday (04Mar18) after losing out on the Best Actress award to Frances McDormand.

The Australian beauty was shortlisted for the honor for her acclaimed portrayal of Tonya Harding in figure skating biopic I, Tonya, but she missed out on the prize as Frances was celebrated for her work in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

While Margot was a gracious loser, her brother, Cameron, decided to take to his Instagram Story timeline to poke fun at the 27-year-old actress, who attended the Los Angeles ceremony with their mother, Sarie Kessler.

After praising Frances‘ female-empowerment acceptance speech, he called out his famous sibling, quipping, “And a message for Margot. Not good enough are ya (sic)?”
He then joked about still being their mother’s “favorite” child, adding, “Just kidding. I’m literally crying right here.”

But Cameron also proved he had nothing but love for his sister as he toasted Margot appearing onstage with Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman to present a prize, admitting he was “excited”, “proud”, and “happy” to see her attending Hollywood’s big night as a nominee.

Margot was also at the Oscars as a producer after taking charge of I, Tonya with her husband Tom Ackerley.
