The first trailer of the third season of Only Murders in the Building has just been released!

“Oh my God, my leading man is dead,” announces Short‘s Oliver Putnam, the Broadway show director. Paul Rudd, the leading man, falls to the ground of the stage. The tale begins.
In the new trailer, the three true crime enthusiasts are shown investigating a murder during Oliver’s Broadway show. Mabel, played by Gomez, questions, “Who are we without a homicide?”
This season, executive producers Jane Raab and Nick Pavonetti are bringing in impressive talent — Ashley Park, Jesse Williams, Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, and Zoe Colletti.
The Plot
The action continues with Detective Williams (Da’Vine Joy Randolph) entering the scene and suspecting foul play, suggesting that someone in the room may be responsible for his collapse. Meanwhile, Oliver expresses concerns about the future of his show, fearing it is on the verge of failure. Lightheartedly, Mabel jokes suggests making another season of their podcast to help alleviate the situation. Both Oliver and Charles (Martin) readily agree to the idea.
The group investigates the Broadway actors to find out the killer’s identity. They consider the possibility that Loretta (Meryl Streep) may have been seeking revenge against Ben for trying to get her fired. In a flashback, Ben refers to Loretta as a “stinkerooni” and wants her to go. The montage heavily features Ashley Park as Kimber, the “TikTok addicted starlet” and concludes with Uma (Jackie Hoffman) telling Charles that he has been considerate enough “to keep the body out of the building this time.”
