Olivia Rodrigo drives to the top of the U.S. charts as debut single becomes a global smash

Olivia Rodrigo has snagged a rare TransAtlantic double by taking her debut single, Drivers License, to the top of the charts in the U.K and U.S.

The break-up track shot to number one in Britain on Friday and now it debuts atop the Billboard Hot 100.

The Disney Channel favorite’s single becomes only the 48th single to debut at number one in America – and the first of 2021.
