Actress Tamzin Outhwaite granted divorce

British star Tamzin Outhwaite has been granted a ‘quickie’ divorce from husband Tom Ellis after the actor confessed to committing adultery. The former EastEnders actress filed for divorce in September (13), months after reports suggesting Ellis had enjoyed a one-night stand while working on location in the U.S. emerged.
The request to end the marriage was granted in a U.K. court on Monday (28Apr14), when District Judge Liza Gordon-Saker issued a decree nisi, acknowledging that the union had been irretrievably broken as a result of the Doctor Who actor’s infidelity.
Neither Outhwaite nor Ellis were in attendance during the brief hearing, according to the Mail Online.
The couple met through mutual friend James McAvoy in 2005 and wed a year later (06). They have two daughters together, five-year-old Florence and 20-month-old Marnie Mae.
