Australian fashion designer Ruth Tarvydas has been found dead at her home in Perth. Tarvydas’ body was discovered at her apartment on Friday morning (16May14). No further details were available as WENN went to press.
Police have stated there were no suspicious circumstances and a report would be prepared for the coroner.
Tarvydas, believed to be in her late 60s, dressed stars including Rihanna, Emma Watson and Amy Winehouse, as well as models Jodie Kidd and Rachel Hunter.
The designer started off her career with a small boutique in Perth in the 1960s before building a fashion empire with stores in Malaysia and Paris, France.
