Actor Jeffrey Wright has escaped driving while intoxicated charges after New York City prosecutors dropped the case against him. The 47-year-old character actor was arrested on 27 April (13) when officers stopped his car for a routine traffic violation and detected the smell of alcohol.
The Casino Royale star also reportedly failed a field sobriety test, but on Monday (24Jun13) legal officials decided not to pursue prosecution due to lack of evidence, according to TMZ.com.
