Country star Jewel is hoping for a return to the Christmas charts after announcing plans to release her second holiday album. Let It Snow will feature festive favourites like Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Sleigh Ride and White Christmas, which will feature Vince Gill.
The new album will also include two new compositions – It’s Christmastime and choral track Blue Crystal Glow, which she wrote with Joe Mardin, the son of Arif Mardin, who produced her 1999 festive album, Joy: A Holiday Collection.
Jewel will join Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson and Leona Lewis in this year’s (13) Christmas album charts.
