Katie Price slams Gwyneth Paltrow over kids’ bikinis promotion

British model-turned-reality TV star Katie Price has reignited her feud with Gwyneth Paltrow by taking aim at the actress for featuring a young girl modelling bikinis on her lifestyle website. The Iron Man star was once quoted as saying she never went to London nightclubs because “women like Jordan” went to them, a reference to the glamour girl’s alter-ego.
Now, Price has turned on Paltrow after learning her Goop.com site this month (Apr13) featured pictures of a little girl wearing Melissa Odabash swimwear.
In her column for Britain’s The Sun newspaper, Price writes, “I will always recall the comments Gwyneth Paltrow made about me in a magazine. She said she never went to London nightclubs because ‘women like Jordan’ go to them. Well, I might enjoy a night out on the town, but I don’t promote sexy clothes for kids.
“On her website Goop, goodie two-shoes Gwynnie is helping a posh pal to flog (sell) a range of grown-up bikinis designed for little girls as young as four. I’ve been criticised for letting (my five-year-old daughter) Princess experiment with make-up in the past but I’d never let her dress in something like that. Stick to growing mung beans Gwynnie, you need to keep your feet on the ground.”
Paltrow has also come under fire from child protection advocates over her use of the pictures.
