Joan Rivers‘ daughter Melissa has reportedly received more than $100 million (£62.5 million) from her late mum’s estate.
The veteran comedienne passed away last month (Sep14) after suffering cardiac and respiratory arrest during a routine throat operation. Now her only child, Melissa, is set to inherit $75 million (£47 million) in cash as well as the $35 million (£22 million) condo in New York City’s Upper East Side, according to Us Weekly. Melissa’s son Cooper, 13, is expected to receive his own bequest. Last week (16Oct14), a New York medical examiner determined Rivers died of hypoxic arrest, when oxygen to her brain was cut off during the procedure.
